Frequently asked questions:
1. Will it cost me more to contract via yourself?
No, the premiums quoted by me are the same as by Sanitas direct. They
pay my commission not you.
2. Is there a minimum contract time?
Yes, the contract is for 12 months. If you do not wish to renew you
should advise Sanitas or myself one month prior to renewal.
3. What happens if I move back to the UK?
In this instance you may cancel your policy. Depending on how long ypu
have been with Sanitas, you may well be able to transfer your policy to
Bupa UK and or Bupa International.
4. Is there a maximum age limit?
On the Complete Plan the age limit is 74. The Classic plan and Basic
have no upper age limit. However after age 65 there are surcharges to
join. Also at age 70 you must provide us with a medical report at your own
expense.

5. Why do I have to pay for each visit to a Doctor?
The Co-Payments are like having a self insured excess. The Classic Plan
has quite high co-payments of €12 a visit, however the premium is
very low. So if you are a family that does not use the Doctor very
often, you will save yourself money on the premium, but just pay a little
more if you need to use the insurance.
6. Is Medication Covered and or Vaccinations?
Medication is covered only whilst hospitalised. Vaccinations will be at your own expense.
7. Can I have a medical?
The object of this insurance is to help you have full control of your health. So yes if you wish to have a full medical you may.
8. Can I have a mammogram?
Yes, if you are 40+ you can have it done every year.
9. Is there a waiting period?
As per the terms and conditions, whilst using our network there is no waiting period except for childbirth / vasectomy and sterilization. However, all claims are looked at closely in the first year.
10. How do I proceed from here and/or contract?
Once you are happy with the price and level of cover, I would be happy to visit you to complete the application forms.
